Job Description:

Position Purpose
The Project Manager provides foundational support through project and task management within Product Development. Support provided by the Project Manager directly intersects with several cross functional areas of the business, focusing on clear and accurate communication of product information and implementation of process and system enhancements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Develop and execute projects to support product management team…examples:
    • New item system setup
    • New product development and launch timelines
    • New product specification sheets
    • Product information interface with Marketing team
  • Cross functional support related to Product Development touching most areas of the business
    • Produce and distribute time sensitive critical information to Sales, Marketing, Consumer Relations, Purchasing, Customer Service and Executive Management
  • Work in close association with VP of Product & Sales Development to design and implement process enhancements across the organization
  • Product management contact person when providing backup to Consumer Relations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Experience and Skills:

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-4 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects and/or project plans
  • Meticulous organizational and efficiency skills
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with mobilizing cross functional support
  • Ability to self-motivate and prioritize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to research, assess and solve problems
  • Ability to use independent judgment, analyze information and formulate recommendations
  • Work well with tight deadlines
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds and occasional up to 100 pounds with assistance
